- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. fat
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cut fat into flour.

2Beat the egg with sugar and add to the milk.

3Add enough of this mixture to the flour to make a soft dough.

4Roll 1/4 inch thick.

5Cut with large biscuit cutter. Brush each biscuit with fat and fold 1/2 over the other as for Parker House rolls.

6Brush the tops with the remaining egg and milk mixture.

7Place on a baking sheet.

8Bake in hot oven at 400° to 425° about 15 minutes.
