  • 1 tsp Coarse Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 10 tbsp Butter, diced and chilled
  • 6 tbsp Lard, chilled
  • 1 each Egg
  • 1 each Egg Yolk
  • 1/2 cup Light Beer

    Add shortening and mix to a crumb.

    Add egg, egg yolk, and 1/4 cup cold beer.

    Mix, adding beer in small amounts until a firm dough is formed.

    Wrap tightly and chill for 30 minutes.
