- 1 whole Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes
- Salt
- Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 package Pie Crust
- Shredded Cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven according to pie crust directions.

2Chop onion and garlic and place in large pot.

3Cook about 5 minutes on medium heat and add ground beef.

4Brown meat and drain excess grease.

5Place mixture back in pot and add can of tomatoes, salt, and red pepper flakes to taste.

6Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes.

7Place 1 pie crust in pie plate.

8Pour mixture in the crust and spread the cheese over the top (dont be shy).

9Place 2nd pie crust over the top and cut 3-4 small slits to vent.

10Put pie in oven and bake according to pie crust directions (usually about 20-25 minutes).

11Remove from oven and let cool for about 15 minutes before serving.

12Goes great with Spanish or Mexican rice.
