- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1/4 lb. oleo
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cook in iron skillet or heavy pan until mixture is toffee colored (about 10 to 12 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring constantly).

2Pour into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan so toffee will be about 1/4-inch thick.

3Across the hot candy, lay 3 small Hershey bars.

4When chocolate melts, spread smooth.

5Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped pecans.

6When cold, break into pieces.
