- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1 1/4 c. cracker crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. additional butter or margarine
Directions

1Melt 2 tablespoons butter.

2Add onion; cook until tender.

3Add flour, salt and pepper.

4Gradually add milk.

5Cook and stir until mixture thickens.

6Add corn, eggs and 1 cup of the cracker crumbs. Place in oiled baking dish.

7Sprinkle with remaining crumbs; dot with additional 2 tablespoons butter.

8Bake at 350° for 35 minutes, until center is firm and top is browned.
