- 34 cup butter (softened)
- 34 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
- 2 cups quick oats (the finer, the better)
- confectioners' sugar (enough to coat balls)
Directions

1Beat butter well.

2Add sugar and mix.

3Add water, vanilla and cocoa and mix.

4Add and mix in the oats last.

5Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

6Shape mixture into 36 (3 dozen) walnut-sized balls and roll in confectioners sugar.

7Keep cookies refrigerated until ready to serve.
