Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 well beaten egg
- 5 c. plain flour (approximately)
- 2 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in first amount of water.

2Add sugar.

3Mix well and let rise 30 minutes or until bubbly.

4Mix remaining ingredients and add the first mixture.

5Cover with greased waxed paper and place in refrigerator.

6After chilled, make rolls as needed.

7Shape, brush with butter and let rise at least 2 hours. Bake at 425° in a preheated oven.
