Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. corn oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. quick oatmeal
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

    Cream together:

    margarine, sugars and oil.

    Add eggs and vanilla and beat well so oil won't separate.

    Add flour mixed with salt, soda and cream of tartar and mix well.

    Stir in cereals, coconut and nuts.

    Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly.

    Bake on lower shelf at 350° for 5 to 6 minutes. Move pan to shelf at middle of oven and finish baking until lightly browned another 5 minutes or so.

    Makes 10 dozen cookies.
