Ingredients
- 4 c. carrots, sliced across in rounds
- 1/2 large onion
- 1/2 large green pepper, sliced in strips (raw)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/2 can tomato soup
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook carrots to tender-crisp stage, 10 minutes or so.

2Bring sugar and vinegar to boil.

3Add tomato soup, oil, mustard, Worcestershire and salt.

4Cook just long enough to blend.

5Layer carrots in 1 1/2-quart or larger container.

6Put onion and pepper on top.

7Continue until all vegetables are used.

8Pour sauce over all and refrigerate at least 24 hours to blend flavors.

9Will keep 3 weeks.
