Fabulous Snickerdoodles

Directions

   Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

   Cream together first five ingredients.

   In separate bowl, stir together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.

   Gradually blend dry ingredients into moist ingredients.

   In separate bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.

   Roll dough into walnut-sized balls.

   Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.

   Place approximately 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

   Bake 8-10 minutes.
