  • 15 ounces, weight Canned Chickpeas (Garbanzo), Drained
  • 1/2 whole Onion, Minced Or Grated
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced Or Crushed
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Cilantro, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt, More To Taste
  • 1/8 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes (more To Taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour (add More By Tablespoonfuls Until Dough Forms)

    Puree beans in a food processor. Add everything but flour and mix well. Taste and adjust seasonings. Starting with 2 tablespoons flour, combine until you can roll dough into a ball that doesn't fall apart while frying (try a small bit at a time to test). Roll into gumball-sized balls, and fry until golden brown.
