Ingredients: 1 stick margarine; 1 large cream cheese, softened; garlic salt to taste; 3/4 c. chopped green onion; 1 pkg. (2 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese; 1 loaf French bread, unsliced

1 large cream cheese, softened
garlic salt to taste
3/4 c. chopped green onion
1 pkg. (2 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 loaf French bread, unsliced

Directions

Cream the margarine, cream cheese and garlic salt. Spread on bread that has been sliced through lengthwise.

Sprinkle with green onion and top with shredded cheese.

Broil until bubbly. Watch carefully; will burn easily. Delicious with Italian dishes or a salad. Reheat in foil.
