  • 3 cups White Sugar
  • 3/4 cups Margarine Or Butter
  • 2/3 cups Evaporated Milk
  • 12 ounces, weight Baking Chips, Chocolate Or Butterscotch, Etc.
  • 1 jar (17 Oz. Jar) Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla (or Extract)
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)

Directions

    Combine sugar, margarine/butter and evaporated milk in a heavy 2 1/2-quart saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling and stirring for 5 minutes, over medium heat. Remove from heat, stir in baking chips until melted. Add marshmallow creme, vanilla and nuts; beat till blended. Pour into a greased 13x9 pan. Let cool. Serve!
