- 2 lbs rutabagas
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 12 teaspoons canola oil
- 12 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 14 teaspoon red pepper
- 14 cup thinly sliced scallion
Directions

1Peel the rutabagas and cut into 1/2 inch chunks.

2Place in a saucepan, cover with cold water and cook over medium heat until tender, about 20 minutes.

3Drain.

4Return to the pan and stir over medium heat until all the excess moisture evaporates, about 2 minutes.

5In a large frying pan, combine the soy sauce, canola oil, sesame oil, garlic and pepper.

6Heat for 4 minutes.

7Add the rutabagas and toss to combine.

8Heat for 2 minutes.

9Sprinkle with the scallions.
