  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 12 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 tsp. instant coffee or use 1 c. regular coffee

    Put the first five ingredients into a bowl and mix with the remaining ingredients. Dilute the coffee in 1 cup of boiling water and add last.

    Mix well.

    Grease 12 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
