Fava Bean Paste (or Edamame)

  • 120 grams Fava beans or edamame (boiled, de-skinned)
  • 50 grams Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

    Remove the skins from the fava beans and boil in boiling salt water (salt not listed) for 4-5 minutes.

    Once they've boiled, remove the thin skin layer, and either strain or mash with a fork.

    It's a bit difficult, but give it your all.

    Add Step 2 to a small pot.

    Add the sugar and heat.

    Evaporate the moisture, but cook to your desired stiffness.
