Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • seasoned salt (to taste)
  • 1 small can peas and carrots, drained
  • 1 small can cream style corn
  • 1 package brown gravy
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 packages Idahoan instant mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup of your favorite shredded cheese (I use colby jack)
  • French's original french fried onions

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    Prepare gravy and mashed potatoes according to package directions. Set aside.

    Brown meat in pan. Drain.

    Season meat with seasoned salt. Add drained peas and carrots, and can of cream-style corn.

    Add sour cream to gravy and mix well. Pour over meat and vegetables. Stir.

    Place meat and vegetable mixture in 8x8 casserole dish.

    Spread 1/2 of potatoes over top of meat. Cover with cheese. Spread remaining potatoes over cheese.

    Cook at 350F for 15 minutes.

    Place in bowls to serve, topped with desired amount of french fried onions.
