- 1 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 5 ounces baking chocolate
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 cup pecans, broken coursely
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325 degree F.

2Lightly grease an 8 x 11-inch baking pan.

3Melt the chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler; cool.

4Beat eggs lightly.

5Add sugar, salt, and vanilla extract; mix well.

6Slowly incorporate the chocolate/butter mixture; mix well.

7Gently mix the pecans in the flour.

8Add flour mixture; fold together enough only to mix well.

9Pour into prepared pan.

10Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.

11Cut into squares while warm.
