  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar.

    Let stand for 20 minutes.

    Scald milk, then add remaining ingredients.

    Store in tight container in refrigerator overnight.

    Roll out like cinnamon rolls.
