Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 c. milk, scalded and cooled
- 7 c. sifted flour
- 2 pkg. yeast
- butter
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Add Crisco to milk while milk is still warm.

2When milk has cooled, dissolve yeast in water and add to milk.

3Add sugar, salt, eggs and flour.

4Beat well.

5Let rest in bowl about 20 minutes. Knead dough for a minute or two.

6Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full or make out rolls and let rise until double in bulk.

7Bake in hot oven at 425° for 20 minutes.

8Brush with butter after removing from oven.

9Makes about 36 rolls.

10Only one rising is necessary for this recipe.
