  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cold butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • sugar

Directions

    In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    Stir in the egg, yogurt and vanilla until just combined. Turn onto a floured surface; knead 6-8 times.

    Roll into a 9 inch circle; cut into 8 wedges. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.

    Brush tops with milk; sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
