- 2 whole eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 6 to 8 qt. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. fettuccine
- 8 slices bacon, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch strips
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- freshly ground black pepper
Directions

1In a small bowl, beat eggs and mix with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese; set aside.

2Cook fettuccine according to package directions.

3Meanwhile, cook bacon in a skillet until it is crisp. Pour off half the bacon fat and stir into the pan the cream.
