  • 1 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. drained, chopped fig preserves
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Beat eggs.

    Add sugar and whip until light and fluffy.

    Add oil.

    Stir baking soda into buttermilk.

    Alternately add flour and buttermilk mixture into batter.

    Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350° for 60 minutes or until tests done.
