  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. fig preserves
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Add melted butter and eggs and beat.

    Slowly add remaining ingredients. Stir.
