- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. scalded milk, with 1/4 c. more sugar
- 1/2 c. Puritan oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 6 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water and add 1 teaspoon sugar.

2Allow to stand for 10 minutes. Stir in scalded milk, oil and rest of the sugar.

3Let it cool a bit, then add the beaten eggs.

4Add the yeast in the warmed water, then flour, little by little.

5Knead the dough until it is soft.

6Set this aside in the bowl with a towel over it.

7Let it rise.

8Roll out the dough and fill.
