Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- dash of nutmeg
- salt and freshly ground white pepper
- 2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 (6 oz.) can shredded crabmeat, shell and cartilage removed
- 28 tartlet shells (see following recipe)
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Remove from heat and let cool.

3Stir in eggs, cheese and seasoning.

4Divide mixture between two bowls.

5Add bacon to one mixture, crabmeat to the other.

6Preheat oven to 400°.

7Arrange tartlet shells on greased baking sheet.

8Fill 14 shells with bacon mixture and 14 with crabmeat mixture.

9Bake for 15 minutes.
-
10Serve warm.

11Makes 28 appetizers.
