- 1 c. scalded milk, cooled
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. dry yeast in 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ground cardamom or 1/2 tsp. saffron
Directions

1Mix together.

2Add flour, stirring, until thick.

3Knead until smooth.

4Let rise in greased bowl until double (cover with plastic wrap).

5Shape as desired (buns, cinnamon, rolls or coffee cake) or rolls as if making cinnamon rolls.

6Don't cut.

7Put in round pan; make circle.

8Slash with scissors.

9Let rise until double.

10Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes (rolls 25 minutes).

11Frost with powdered sugar icing, nuts and cherries or 1/3 cup hot coffee with 2 tablespoons sugar.

12For glaze, sprinkle with sugar.
