- 3/4 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 lbs carrots
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash nutmeg
- breadcrumbs
Directions

1Boil rice in salted water until almost tender.

2Drain.

3Boil carrots.

4Let cool and grate.

5Butter a 2 qt casserole.

6Combine all ingredients and pour mixture into casserole.

7Dot with butter and sprinkle bread crumbs on top.

8Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes.
