  • 1 gal. fir tips (gather early in Spring)
  • 4 1/2 c. water
  • 7 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 bottles liquid pectin
  • 1/4 tsp. green food coloring

Directions

    Wash fir tips and bring to a boil in water. Then simmer for 1/2 hour.

    Strain juice several times.

    Yields 4 cups.
