Ingredients

  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 14 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 14 teaspoon cinnamon oil or 14 teaspoon cinnamon extract
  • 1 ounce cinnamon red hot's candy (whole or crushed as you wish and use as many or few as you like)

Directions

    Whisk the cream, half-and-half, sugar and salt in a bowl until the sugar dissolves.

    Stir in the vanilla extract and cinnamon oil.

    Churn in an ice cream maker adding the red hots 5 mins before it's done or stir them in after after it comes out of the ice cream maker.

    Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, at least 2 hours.
