- 6 globe artichokes, fully cooked (leftover artichokes are fine)
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 6 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- salt
- black pepper
- 6 basil leaves, finely minced
Directions

1Heat an oven to 500 degrees or have ready hot coals on a grill.

2Cut out pieces of aluminum large enough to wrap up each artichoke.

3For EACH artichoke serving add the ingredients listed above, {{divided}} among the six artichokes.

4Seal the aluminum tightly around each artichoke.

5Roast directly on the hot coals or in the oven for 3 minutes.

6Turn then roast an additional 3-5 minutes.

7Serve with your favorite artichoke dipping sauce-vinaigrette, mayonnaise, etc.
