Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper(use cautiously)
  • 2 1 lb. cans whole tomatoes
  • 3 small cans dark red kidney beans

Directions

    In a large saucepan saute beef, onion, green pepper, salt, black pepper and cayenne in 1 tbsp. butter until browned.

    Add tomatoes and kidney beans and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

    Great served with warm breadsticks or garlic bread.
