  • 1 lb. fish fillets
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Grind the fillets.

    Fry onions in oil until tender and combine with ground fish.

    Add rice, water, lemon juice, salt and pepper (to taste).

    Mix thoroughly.

    Shape mixture into small balls with wet hands and then roll in bread crumbs.

    Cook in hot oil until delicately browned.
