- 2 c. water
- 2 lb. fish fillets
- 4 onions, sliced
- 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 4 c. milk
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Boil water in a deep saucepan; add fish fillets and simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes.

2Remove fish.

3Add onions and potatoes to fish water in saucepan.

4Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

5Add milk, cream, butter, salt and pepper. Flake cooked fish and return to saucepan.

6Heat over very low heat, stirring occasionally.

7Serve hot.
