- 2 lb. haddock
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 2 sliced onions
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. milk and cream or evaporated milk
- 1 c. water that fish and potatoes were cooked in
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Simmer the haddock, potatoes and onions in water.

2Drain, reserve 1 cup.

3Add milk, salt and pepper; heat.

4Do not let boil. In a separate pan, melt the butter and add the flour.

5Add to the chowder to thicken.
