  • 1 lb. haddock or other fish
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. cubed potatoes
  • 1-inch sq. salt pork
  • 1 medium onion
  • butter
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • sherry or white wine (optional)
  • butter, salt and pepper to taste (add with evaporated milk)

Directions

    Simmer haddock in 1 cup water until cooked.

    Remove from pan. Add potatoes to water (you may need more water).

    Simmer until cooked, but not overdone.
