Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. salt pork
- 3 medium onions
- 6 medium white potatoes
- fish
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 qt. milk
Directions

1Dice salt pork and saute in soup kettle until very crisp. Remove salt pork and set aside.

2Dice onions and saute in fat; do not brown.

3Add diced potatoes.

4Wash fish and place in kettle. Cover fish, onions and potatoes with cold water.

5Add salt, pepper and sauce.

6Cook until fish flakes, about 30 minutes.

7Add heated milk.

8Sprinkle salt pork on top of chowder.

9Serve with oyster crackers or tea biscuits.

10Yields 8 servings.
