- 1/8 lb. salt pork
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 5 to 8 medium potatoes, chopped
- 1 lb. haddock or other white fish
- 1 can milk
- 2 c. whole milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cube salt pork and fry until crisp, not burned.

2Remove pork pieces and fry chopped onions until tender, do not let burn.

3Add to the chopped potatoes in a large kettle.

4Cover (barely) with water.

5Cook until potatoes are just tender.

6Lay fish over the potatoes and cook just until fish flakes.

7Add the milks, if not enough liquid add some more milk.

8Add butter, salt and pepper to taste.
