Fish Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 sprigs parsley
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • pinch of thyme
  • 1 c. Milk
  • 1/2 C. water
  • 1 small potato, chopped
  • 1/2 Can corn, drained
  • 1/4 lb. cut up fish fillet (white fish tastes best)

Directions

    Saute first 5 ingredients in a little butter.

    Add milk, water, potato and corn; simmer 5 minutes.
  3. 3
    Add fish and simmer 5 more minutes till fish is flaky and potato is cooked.
