  • 1 lb. stew meat
  • potatoes, cubed (approximately 2 c.)
  • chopped carrots (as much as desired)
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca (instant)
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • V-8 juice

Directions

    Place all ingredients in 5-quart Dutch oven, using enough V-8 juice to cover meat and vegetables.

    Mix, cover and place in oven at 250° and cook for 5 hours.
