  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 1-3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Mix together the first 4 ingredients. Beat remaining ingredients in separate bowl. Combine the two mixtures with a fork; then with hands. Mold dough in a bowl. Chill 15 minutes before rolling out. Will keep in refrigerator in plastic bag for 2 weeks.
