- 1 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 c. cold water
Directions

1Blend flour, shortening and salt with pastry blender or fork until pieces are the size of peas.

2Mix vinegar, egg and water separately.

3Moisten dry ingredients gradually, mixing lightly. Let dough stand in refrigerator for several minutes, then roll out.

4Unused dough can be frozen.
