- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. water
Directions

1With a fork mix first 4 ingredients.

2In separate dish heat remaining ingredients. Combine 2 mixtures, stirring with fork until well blended.

3Then with hands, mold dough into a ball. Chill at least 15 minutes before using.

4Makes four one crust 9-inch pies, or two double crusts.

5Can be frozen until ready to use in pie size portions.
