- 4 c. flour, spooned lightly
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
Directions

1Sift flour, sugar and salt.

2Add cut up shortening, not too fine.

3Beat water, vinegar and egg; mix well in a jar.

4Add to flour mixture; mix all together.

5Makes enough pie crust mix for 3 pies.

6This dough can be frozen, wrapped in wax paper.

7Bake in a 425° oven for 10 minutes; reduce to 350° for about an hour.
