- 4 cups Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
- 8 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 3/4 cups Butter, Cold
- 1-3/4 cup Buttermilk Or Kefir

1Into a large bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture looks like coarse meal. Stir in kefir or buttermilk. Form dough into a soft ball and turn out onto a well floured surface. Roll out to desired thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter or cookie cutter.

2Place biscuits in a box, separated by layers of wax paper. Freeze.

3When ready to bake, heat oven to 450 degrees F. Bake frozen biscuits until golden brown, about 14-18 minutes.
