  • 1 gal. dill pickles
  • 8 c. sugar
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. hot sauce (depending on how hot you want it to be)
  • 1 tsp. red pepper

Directions

    Drain pickles.

    In large dishpan mix pickles, sugar, garlic, hot sauce and red pepper.

    Let stand for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

    After this, put back into pickle jar with new pickle juice.

    Refrigerate.
