Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Mix flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt together. Cut in Crisco.

    Beat sugar, milk and egg and add to flour mixture. Knead briefly, roll out and cut biscuits.

    Freeze.

    Bake frozen. Do not thaw.

    Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.

    Can bake 2 or 3 or all.
