Freezer Jams

Ingredients

  • 3 c. crushed fruit (fruit of choice)
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 pkg. Sure-Jell
  • fruit: strawberries, blackberries, peaches, apricots

Directions

    Combine fruit and sugar.

    Let stand 20 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.

    Combine water and Sure-Jell.

    Bring to a boil.

    Boil 1 minute, stirring.

    Add mixture to fruit and stir 3 minutes.

    Pour into jars or freeze in containers, leaving 1 inch from top of jar. Cover with lids.

    Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Freezer.

    Yields 6 cups.

    Will keep in fridge for 3 weeks.
