- 2 qt. sliced cucumbers, 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. canning salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Sprinkle salt on cucumbers and onion and let stand for 2 hours.

2Drain pickles.

3Heat sugar, vinegar and celery seed until sugar melts.

4Let set for 1/2 hour, stirring every 5 minutes.

5Put into containers and freeze.
