- 25 medium cucumbers, sliced very thin
- 10 medium white onions, sliced very thin
- salt
- water
- 5 c. sugar
- 1/2 pt. white vinegar
Directions

1Cover the cucumbers and onions with ice water and salt (use 1/4 cup salt to 1 quart water).

2Refrigerate for 48 hours.

3Drain and rinse lightly.

4Mix the sugar and vinegar; stir well before adding to cucumbers and onions.

5Put pickles in freezer containers.

6Cover with liquid and freeze.
